GCGCE 2027 — Global Conference on Girl Child Empowerment
Balance the Scales with Equity, Leadership and Accountability
80 Cooperage St, Toronto, ON M5A 0J3
GCGCE convenes leaders, educators and advocates to address barriers affecting girls’ education, safety, leadership and participation.
Understanding the Challenge
Across the world, girls continue to face barriers affecting education, safety, leadership and digital participation. Conference materials should cite current primary sources before publishing numeric global claims.
While the world becomes increasingly connected, girls often face disproportionate barriers in accessing quality education, safety, leadership opportunities and digital spaces. Harmful social norms, poverty and systemic inequalities continue to hold girls back — limiting not only their individual futures but also the progress of families, communities and nations.
A Movement, Not a Conference
At GCGCE 2027, we are not just raising awareness — we are demanding accountability, building leaders and creating real solutions. Under the theme "Balance the Scales with Equity, Leadership and Accountability," this conference challenges individuals, institutions and global systems to step up, act boldly and invest in the future of girls.
The Amara Girls Initiative (TAGI) invites leaders, youth, policymakers, educators and advocates to the Global Conference on Girl Child Empowerment. Edition number, capacity and attendance projections will be published after confirmation by the event team.
