Community connection

Community participation and connection have long been part of TAGI’s refugee-support focus.

“Standing with Refugees” was a named activity area on TAGI’s earlier website. The original public media caption used the same wording for this community gathering.

TAGI’s early focus included sharing information, supporting newcomers and refugees, providing volunteering opportunities and encouraging community engagement. These priorities continue in the Refugee and Newcomer Support program.
