Across the world, girls continue to face barriers that limit their future. 129+ million girls are out of school globally, 1 in 5 girls is married before the age of 18, women hold less than 30% of leadership positions worldwide, the digital gender gap is widening, and gender-based violence remains one of the most widespread human rights violations.
