Holds an MBA in project management, A degree in BBA Finance, Diploma in Immigrantion consultancy, and an advanced diploma in HR. She is an Inspiring Ugandan-Canadian, Social activist and Human Resources professional. With profound experience in community engagements, Human Resources ,project management ,Banking and telecommunications. She has also served in many key positions advocating for Girls and women’s rights while working with schools internationally. She is a mum of 3 Girls and that’s the reason Girls are so close to her heart.

Edison Kaliba. (TAGI)

Director Legal

 

Edison is a Senior Associate at AKN Advocates, a leading full-service law firm in Kampala and boasts of over five years’ experience in private legal practice. He holds an LL. B (Hons)degree from Makerere University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre. Prior to joining AKN Advocates, Edison worked with Humanitarian organization Refugee Law Project, at their Kampala office where he amassed a vast experience in Human Rights and Social Justice promotion and awareness and has since then been passionate about helping in social justice causes and defending rights. He is currently under the firm’s dispute resolution, Human Rights Promotion, litigation, employment, tax and corporate advisory practice areas

Mugenyi Lucy . (TAGI)

With a back ground of working with and for young people through dynamic program coordination and leadership as a Senior Youth and Adolescent Officer, Lucy has 7 years of experience of working at War Child Canada directly with adolescents and youths in program development and leadership roles in emergence and non-emergency contexts to accelerate peace by disrupting the cycle of violence. Lucy is originally from Fort-Portal City in Western Uganda. Lucy’s commitment to women, adolescents and youths comes from the many years of working with People of concern (Refugees) and marginalized Nationals in different refugee operations of South West, Mid-West and West Nile settlements in Uganda. Prior to working with War Child Canada, Lucy Community Engagement specialist and Research Assistant who interacted directly with the marginalized communities of Rwenzori Region through Peace building and conflict resolution programs. She holds a B.A. in Community Development from Nkumba University and pursuing a post graduate in Project Planning and Management at Uganda Management Institute
