ABOUT TAGI
The Amara Girls Initiative (TAGI) is a registered Canadian not for profit organization established in 2022 operating in Canada and worst poverty affected areas of Sub-Saharan Africa with a mission to work with vulnerable communities to help the youth, young adults, children and women affected by HIV/AIDS, gain empowerment through education and access to social justice.

Girls deserve to be at the forefront of everything done to elevate them. TAGI offering sanitary towels to primary 7 girls of Kagote primary school in Uganda in its bid to keep every girl in school.

Champions of change
By staying in school, girls are protected from vulnerabilities like early marriage and gender based violence. Stand Up for Girls targets girls from informal settlements, arid and semi arid regions to increase girls’ participation in education
